Dear Heidi,
It is snow, snow everywhere especially in England where nearly everything has closed and it truly has snowed by now. It is utter chaos right across the country, and here in Norway we can only shake our heads in disbelief!
But you, my darling, are in much warmer climes, exploring the streets and stores of Havana; I wish I could be there too! Perhaps one day....
Here at home, the cold winds continue and the birds are ever busy at the feeders. Mr Squirrel has a friend, and they have been popping in and out of the bird box on the birch tree. Perhaps we will have our own squirrel family this spring. I try to keep the cats indoors all day, which as it is so cold and snowy doesn’t seem to be a bad idea, they can go out after dark, and come in quite quickly then.
We are getting everything together now and will be off on our own journey very soon.
